No, SardisTEL is not satellite-based internet. We use combination of unlicensed line-of-sight and LTE-Advanced, and 5G NR licensed spectrum on the AT&T (Primary), T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless towers.
Our Wireless Internet typical latency (ping) is 50ms.
Satellite typically has a latency (ping) of between 1500 and 3000ms, which is what makes it seem so slow, and cumbersome.
SardisTel has speeds as if it was a fixed line broadband service and is nice and snappy feeling.
SardisTel Wireless Internet currently offers 3 package levels for residential service.
We offer 1 LTE based plan which has an average speed of 25Mbps download, and 5Mbps upload for $99/m.

Our 5G services are the "newest" technology and highly recommended over the older 4G LTE option.
Our 4G LTE service has a dynamic CG-NAT IP, this can cause issues with gaming and some streaming media services.
Our 5G service has a dedicated IP address located out of Alabama, and does not have the limitations of the CG-NAT our LTE service has.

SardisTEL does not limit any media streaming services.
Please note that LTE based plans have a dynamic IP address that can change randomly, and cause issues with some media providers.
Our 5G plans all come with a dedicated IP address, and have no issues with any media providers, and no geolocation issues.
*There are known issues with Hulu Live obtaining correct Geolocation to provide correct regional content. We strongly recommend YouTube TV, as it is cheaper, and works much better in our testing. - 5G does not have this issue, only 4G LTE.
SardisTEL does support online gaming, and we do not block any services.
However, please note that our older LTE network does use CG-NAT, which can cause issues with older multi-layer games.
Our new 5G network has a dedicated IP address and does not use CG-NAT, and is fully compatible with any and all games old/new.
If you plan to use our service for gaming, we strongly recommend going with our 5G service, as it will have a quicker ping, faster download/upload, more stable and no CG-NET issues.
We are compatible with all gaming platforms including Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, and Steam just to name a few.
SardisTEL 5G provides a static IP address, residential accounts do not have port forwarding, but port forwarding can be enabled by contacting customer service. Business 5G comes with a static IP address and port forwarding by default.
